After a VERY long two days of travelling we have finally arrived back in Calgary.. phew! Despite already being exhausted by this point we did venture into Seoul, South Korea via city bus and explored the Namdaemun Market.. it was a pretty quiet day there as there had been an election so some of the market stalls were closed, but we enjoyed seeing another country and culture even if only for a day. It was a bit of a shock going from the mayhem of Vietnam into the we pristine city of Seoul, and had we been less tired I'm sure it would have been more of a shock. The flight from Seoul to Vancouver was loooong and then a delay on the Calgary-bound plane just about made us crazy but we finally made it! A wee bit jet lagged for sure, but happy to be home :)
I already miss the people we met at the volunteer dorm.. and certainly wishing some of those kids had mysteriously shown up in our suitcases ;) All in all a great time and thanks again to everyone who donated to the centre! Your donations were sincerely appreciated by everyone who benefitted from them :D

and...we're done.
We are leaving Peace House in about an hour to return to Ha Long Bay for our weekend before we arrive home Wednesday. I can only speak for myself, I am ready to return to my family...although my time her has been well spent-it will be nice to wrap my arms around Frank and Yale. I want to thank you all so very much for your support on the blog as well as the donations you made...what a difference you made to the Friendship Village community, it has been heartfelt. I look forward to seeing you all very soon-on the flip side :D
Love and peace,
Christine...ps Frank, the house had better be clean LOL!
